Brands Join Together Under Thailand 4.0

Many big companies have recently joined together, pledging their support with branding in Thailand for the government’s new Thailand 4.0 policy. The companies say that they are bringing in the latest innovation and developments to their products and services not only to attract new customers, but also to support the local Thai government’s development efforts. This was celebrated recently during the Marketeer No. 1 Brand Thailand 2017-2018 Awards, held in the country.

According to a statement from Thai Samsung’s Senior Marketing Manager, IT and Mobile Communications; BoonsuebChanchamsri, the company’s aim has always been to meet their customers’ lifestyle needs, to never stop developing new, and innovative products that meet customer needs and set the standard for the industry.

When it comes to branding in Thailand, Chanchamsri says that Samsung took note of all the customer touch points they knew of. He adds that, with the Galaxy Studio, and the Samsung Brand Shop, among others, the company aims to offer a platform where customers can try out products, getting a first-hand feel for them before deciding to buy.

Notably, Samsung’s Thailand arm was named the Marketeer No.1 at the Brand Thailand 2018-2018 awards, receiving accolades from many categories.

Meanwhile, the Marketeer No. 1 Brand Thailand 2017-2018 winner in the life insurance category was the Muang Thai Life Assurance Public Co. Ltd., with President and CEO Sara Lamsam saying that their branding policy is customer-centric. He says that they recently set up the Fuchsia Innovation Centre in order to encourage creative and outside the box thinking and conceptualization.

The winner in the digital banking category was Kasikornbank, with its Senior Executive Vice President, WirawatPanthawangkun, says that the back has been working on digital transformation since the company’s restructuring, with the K PLUS app, with 1.8 million users, being a result of that.

TrueOnline, meanwhile, won the award category for internet service provider. Corporate Head SaharatKanongsilp says that the Group’s strength is in their ability to offer special benefits to its customers, with packages that bundle their products and services proving successful in bringing in customers.

Saharat says that the award they received will only motivate them further to help Thailand become a digital economy hub in the region.
