This year’s edition of the 100% Design will take place this coming 23rd to 26th of September. The event will be hosted at a new home, the Olympia London. It will feature different unique design styles including oak vanity units and other furniture trends. The event will take place in the Grand and West Halls of the Olympia and the show will be staged across two levels. The event will also be featuring five unique sections including Design & Build, Interiors, Bathrooms and Kitchens, Emerging Brands and Workplace. The program called the Talks with 100% Design will also be returning. It will feature renowned speakers like Ilse Crawford.
The show director is Sir William Knight. He told the media that it will be another exciting and significant year for 100% Design. He said that the whole crew is set to give their audiences the most visually entertaining and dramatic edition. They have brought in United Kingdom’s leading design show to a new location. This is the first time in 17 years that the location is moved. Olympia London has the perfect set-up according to the show director. It is equipped with natural lighting, with a sense of intimacy and has excellent services when it comes to visitor experience. With a focused and blended original content of the design show, the upcoming event promises to be stimulating as well as brilliant.
Year after year, the 100% Design continues to draw record number of visitors. Last year, the show attracted more than 28,000 attendees. The total number was a 36 percent increase since the new show organizer Media 10 acquired the rights to the event last 2011. Last year, the number of exhibitors also totaled to 450.
The 100% Design 2015 is collaborating closely with trend setter and forecaster WGSN and others in order to bring to life the sensual as well as visual experience of using various colors across the building environment and the interiors. The show this September will be based on the theme Design in Color. The upcoming event will especially present seminars, editorial features and live content along with more than 400 local and international exhibitors.
