Demi Lovato In Luxury Rehab Centre Receives Warm Invitation From A Celebrity Couple To Help Her Heal

Following her July 24 overdose, artist Demi Lovato is now discharged from the hospital and is currently staying at a luxury rehab center in Arizona. Demi was found unconscious in her Hollywood Hills home, and was rushed to Cedars Sinai Hospital where she received Narcan from the first responders to resuscitate her. Reports have shown that inpatient treatment at the luxury rehab center costs up to $60,000, offering help in recovering from addiction and other co-occurring mental health conditions. A Public Statement

Demi Lovato gave a public statement through Twitter, saying that she has always been transparent about her journey with addiction and recovery. She adds that she has learned that it does not just disappear, and she must continue her efforts to overcome it. She is very thankful for the support that she has been receiving from her fans, as it helped her a lot through this difficult time in her life. She says that she wants to focus on her recovery, and that she looks forward to the day that she gets clean and sober.

The Plan

Her mother Dianna Hart has given her some rules regarding his rehabilitation. This included at least thirty days in rehab, and a coach to help her stay sober for at least a year after rehab. She must also FaceTime her mom at least once a day, and undergo random drug testing.

Warm Invitation

Celebrity couple Portia de Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres have invited Demi to stay at their beach house once she gets out of rehab. They were heartbroken from Demi’s relapse, and would want to help her in her recovery. Ellen says that the beach house in Santa Barbara is close to nature, and would be the perfect place for her to heal. She adds that it is a good place to escape the pressures of being a Hollywood celebrity as well–something that Demi could clearly do without as she focuses on herself and her healing.

Ellen and Portia have explained that they are determined to help Demi get back on her feet. Portia has even recommended equestrian therapy for the artist.
