The Vox, Birmingham Chosen As The Setting For The 2019 Logistics Awards

The 2019 iteration of The Logistics Awards, a celebration of the best in the industry, tradeshow logistics, has found a venue, choosing the Vox Conference Venue (Vox) as the venue. Notably, The Logistics Awards 2019 will be held in conjunction with the International Materials Handling Exhibition (IMHX 2019).

The 2019 iteration of The Logistics Awards will be held on September 26, Thursday,  to be held in conjunction with the International Materials Handling Exhibition 2019, the UK’s largest logistics tradeshow, a celebration of logistics in all its forms, including  tradeshow logistics, and will be bringing in logistics companies from across the region.

Reportedly, the venue was chosen due to the fact that it is an attractive offering for the Midlands events scene. The Vox opened back in September 2016, situated within the Resorts World Birmingham on the NEC Campus, a £150m leisure and entertainment destination that’s the first of its kind in the country. The Logistics Awards is expecting at least 650 attendees coming to it.

As for the Vox itself, the layout gives it a banqueting space with retractable, soundproof skyfold walls that allows the space to be split or combined in order to create several multifunction areas. There’s also a large foyer space with floor to ceiling windows which grants the space natural lighting, as well as a media wall that provides a space for . Among the packages available at the venue is a play conference package, which also includes audio visual, sound, lighting and technical crew.

Vox Head of Marketing Kelly Haslehurst spoke on the matter, saying that everything about the Voxis built around delivering a statement to the customers. Notably, the venue is also placed in such a way that it’s easily accessible, either via road, rail, and air.

The Logistics Awards 2019 had 13 award categories open for entries, with the official website hosting an entry guide holding details of the year’s categories, as well as rules and requirements for any submissions, which demanded a 50-word project, and 1,000 word write-up. The deadline was then extended to May 24, Friday, and received no further extensions from that date.
