Wisconsin Riders Attended Moto Guzzi Rally

You might think that Wisconsin is the home of the traditional brand motorbike Harley-Davidson but it is also home to loyal Moto Guzzi lovers. There are many dealers in the area offering Moto Guzzi for sale and the brand is starting to become a household name as much as the Harley. There is no doubt that the people of Wisconsin also love their mean machines manufactured by the Italian brand because of the annual event celebrated in the area.

For those who are not aware yet, every year there is an event called Wisconsin Moto Guzzi Riders Rally celebrated in the region. In fact, last month between August 3 and 5, 2018 is the 34th Annual Wisconsin Moto Guzzi Riders Rally which was held at the Lake Joy Campground located close to Belmont, Wisconsin. Many enthusiasts attended the event and even the media was there to witness it.

The Lake Joy Campground can be found in the deeper end of the southern part of Driftless Area in Wisconsin. The place is perfect for the event because of the beautiful country roads that are available for riding and it spreads out until the Uplands.

Those roads were enjoyed by many who attended the weekend event because they tackled them either individually or by going out in small groups. There are even a poker run that spans 100 mile with cash payout on the line. On Saturday of that weekend, a group organized an outing to the Los Amigos restaurant located n Richland Center with the riding party headed by Tom Kelly.

For night-time activities, it was filled with cheese and snacks, 50-50 drawing and biker flicks. Despite the fact that the event was hosted for Moto Guzzi riders, everyone was welcome to join and many came bringing their own favourite brand of motor bikes.

The food was already included in the registration fee they have to pay aside from the gate payment at the site. The rally fee covers the tent camping for two days and amenities such as private lake and showers and restrooms. Though there was no Moto Guzzi for sale on the event location, stalls selling accessories and equipment are present and even club items from the company.
